Donations and tax deductions
Donations made by Canadians are tax deductible. You can find out more about how much tax relief you may receive via Revenue Canada’s web site at: http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/chrts-gvng/dnrs/svngs/clmng1b2-eng.html (first time donors can receive up to $250 in additional tax credits!). As an example, once you are over the annual $200 base, a donor from BC will receive $43.72 in refunds from every $100 donated (Donors from ON would receive $40, from QC $53).
